Mint Spring was a joy with snow on the trail – continued up to the top of the mountain via the Aspen Trail – past the running ski lift – the Summit Parking covered in snow – the top emptier than usual – surprised to see the Turkeys, assumed they would be lower.

Snow on the Box Camp Trail – 2013/12/22
Didn’t have time to walk past the lovely section where the trail rambles by the stream, fresh snow there – but worth the drive to enjoy the snow…
Gibbon Mountain – 2013/12/21
Along the beautiful ridges on the way back from Gibbon Mountain with Tucson in the background. Took the trail out to Point 4981 – not too much impact from the Prison Fire earlier in the year – eventually wandering down and across the drainage southeast and up to the north (proper) peak – but the southern point was the highlight – came back via the ridges – beautiful sunset!
Red Ridge Trail in the Snow – 2013/12/7
