I love this book – topo maps for the entire Coronado National Forest in an incredibly reasonable size! Perfect to have in the car, easy to browse at home and a great compromise compared to having all of the full-sized 7.5′ USGS Quads for the same area.
This book isn’t perfect – in remote areas with considerable dirt/4wd road approaches it is unlikely this book will provide all of the topo map coverage you need, the trail coverage is not perfect and the book is a bit unwieldy to carry/use while hiking – but overall this is a great resource and a nice complement to GPS mapping applications.
