This book provides a great overview of Arizona’s Santa Catalina Mountains with a wide range of information especially about the plants, animals and geology of the mountain. The book focuses on common species and is not a replacement for more detailed guides to birds/flowers/trees/etc. but for the common species this book does a great job of providing context and location in addition to basic identification information and pictures.
