John Gill Lemmon's rather remarkable account of his honeymoon trip with Sarah Plummer Lemmon was published in 1881 (V4, 517-525) in 'The Californian - A Western Monthly Magazine'. The article tells the story of their ascent - assisted by E.O. Stratton - to the top of the Santa Catalina Mountains. Mount Lemmon is named for Sarah Plummer Lemmon.
