Linda Vista Trail Bee Attack

Bee Attack on Linda Vista Trail – Several hikers went to the hospital and several other hikers and rescuers were stung – rescue efforts included using a helicopter to create a down draft to help repel the bees (which here is mentioned as first being used in the 2010 rescue of Robert Mackley in the Santa Catalina mountains). This is the second bee incident in a week although the first was not in the Santa Catalina Mountains.
